It’s become clear to me now that it’s important to establish a definitive living and working space. I’ve always taken my personal projects back home and it had created an unhealthy living condition that I’m still getting over now.

Separating the two really allows you to be more productive and be in an appropriate headspace. Leaving your work on a good note is always productive for the mind and most often happens in your workspace moreso than home. Coming back to unfinished work is always more comforting than living with it.

We’ve just recently moved into our new studio. I’m quite fond of it.

It’s sunday morning, about nine thirty and surely I’m still asleep just minutes away from meeting Luca. Those minutes quickly pass, Luca shows up, my apologies and we’re out the door. Show and tell, Luca’s newfound toy, here it is. Luca and Penny, Charles and Rosebud, a red Penny skateboard!

3 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 slices of french toasts (or pancakes), bacon and potatoes. The Grand Slam, it’s been on my mind for a while now. Breakfast at Moe’s is sacred.

Luca and I awkwardly try and sneak a few shots for Highsnobiety while not trying to bother anyone. Alexandra laughs in the back and I try and keep Luca focused. This was definitely a good excuse to go to Moe’s.

Erica sent me a few photos (that we’re now using for our portfolio) of the things we did for the WeSC store in Montreal. I’d like to thank her once again for the great help she’s been for this entire project especially with the lookbook. It’s been great working with her and I look forward to working with her again.

École Militaire – Militante

Around 6 months ago at the corner of St-Dominique and Des Pins emerged an unlikely place for a storefront of the stature of École Militaire. Away from the regular traffic of St-Laurent, Andy and Laurent hold down their boutique with the likes of Norse Projects, Porter, Inventory magazine and much more. The two graciously greeted Meaghan and I this week to work on the latest edition of the Style Profile feature I’ve started on Highsnobiety. I look forward to seeing what the duo has to offer next.

2012 has already set itself to be quite an adventure. Thanks to the ongoing support we’ve gotten through Une Banane I’ve been able to settle down and devote my time to pursuing personal creative endeavours. Along the way, I’ve been graced with the opportunity of tackling a new segment of highly acclaimed blog, Highsnobiety, in this “pseudo editorial columns” entitled “Style Profiles”. Through the help of Olivier we got through this first set last week. Looking forward to working with him again.
